They can change the course of the match with their quick reflexes with the gloves. And the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has seen some fine wicketkeepers.

Career Milestones for Most Dismissals as Wicketkeeper in CPL
Nicholas Pooran, Andre Fletcher and Denesh Ramdin are the only three wicketkeepers with more than 50 dismissals in the CPL.
Ramdin was the first to 50 keeping dismissals in the CPL. And he is also the fastest to the mark, taking 61 innings.
Ramdin also has the most stumpings in CPL history, with 17 dismissals to his name.
Pooran and Fletcher are the only two wicketkeepers with more than 60 catches in the CPL.
Record for Most Dismissals by a Wicketkeeper in a CPL Innings
Kumar Sangakkara (Jamaica Tallawahs), Devon Thomas (St Kitts and Nevis Patriots) and Azam Khan (Guyana Amazon Warriors) have made the most wicketkeeping dismissals in a CPL innings. All were involved in four dismissals each, with Sanga (vs Barbados Tridents, 2016) and Azam (vs Trinbago Knight Riders, 2023) taking four catches each, while Thomas held two catches and affected two stumpings (vs St Lucia Stars, 2018).
Four catches each taken by Sanga and Azam are also the joint most by a wicketkeeper in a CPL innings.
Ramdin, meanwhile, has made the most stumpings in a CPL innings. He stumped three batters for Guyana against Barbados Tridents in 2013.
Single-Season Wicketkeeping Records in CPL
Sangakkara has made the most fielding dismissals as a wicketkeeper in a CPL season. He had 16 dismissals for the Tallawahs in 2016.
Fletcher was involved in 15 keeping dismissals for St Lucia Zouks in 2020. 14 of those were catches, the most by a keeper in a single CPL season.
Quinton de Kock has affected the most stumpings in a single CPL season. He stumped six batters for Barbados Royals in 2024. Overall, he made 13 dismissals that season.
