Record Low Defences in CPL Matches
St Lucia Zouks (now St Lucia Kings) have defended the lowest score in CPL history. After getting bowled out for 92, they restricted Barbados Tridents to 89 for 7 to win by three runs.
The three-run margin win by St Lucia is the joint-third smallest by them and by any team in the CPL.
Home and Away Low-Score Defence CPL Records
The Tridents have recorded the lowest score defence in an away CPL game. They managed to hold Guyana Amazon Warriors to 111 for 6 after getting 125 for 9 at Providence in 2015.
Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel (now Trinbago Knight Riders) hold the record for the lowest score successfully defended in a home CPL match. They put up 134 for 5 in 14 overs before holding up St Kitts and Nevis Patriots to 123 for 7 at Port of Spain in 2015.
Team Defending Records and Playoff Milestones in CPL
The Tridents have defended the most 150-or-lower scores in the CPL, with eight such instances to their name.
The Red Steel have recorded the lowest all-out total in the CPL. They were rolled out for 52 runs by the Tridents at Bridgetown in 2013.
Jamaica Tallawahs have defended the lowest total in a CPL playoff match. They scored 148 for 8 before bowling out the Kings for 115 in the 2022 Eliminator match.
