But there have been days when they completely flopped. So bad that their teams recorded some of the lowest totals.

Lowest Team Innings and Match Totals in CPL History
Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel (now Trinbago Knight Riders) hold the lowest team total in the CPL. They folded for a mere 52 against Barbados Tridents in Bridgetown in 2013. This is also the lowest team total in an away CPL game.Â
The 2013 Bridgetown game between the Red Steel and the Tridents also recorded the lowest match aggregate in the CPL. Both teams combined to score 105 runs.
The Tridents, meanwhile, have recorded the lowest team total in a home CPL match. They mustered 59 in response to Guyana Amazon Warriors’ 158 for 8 in Bridgetown in 2017.
Team Records for Sub-100 Totals and Lowest Defences in CPL
The Tridents have recorded eight below-100 totals, the most by a team in the CPL.
Guyana Amazon Warriors, meanwhile, have restricted opponents to below-100 totals seven times, the most by a team in the CPL.
St Lucia Kings are the only team to successfully defend a total under 100 runs in the CPL. Their 92 proved to be enough against the Tridents (89/7) at Port of Spain in 2020.
The Amazon Warriors have registered the lowest run rate in a CPL innings. They scored 55 runs at 4.02 against St Lucia at Tarouba in 2020.
Lowest Team Totals in CPL Playoffs and Final
The Amazon Warriors’ 55 is also the lowest total in the CPL playoffs, set in the second semi-final in 2020.
The Amazon Warriors have also registered the lowest team total in a CPL final. They mustered 93 to set up an easy target for Jamaica Tallawahs in the 2016 final.
