Pandya’s Early T20I Career and Formative Years

Pandya made his T20I debut in early 2016. But he remained rather quiet with the bat, getting only a handful of chances till 2020.

He had the highest batting average (minimum five innings) and strike rate (minimum 50 balls faced) among all batters in T20Is in 2018. He scored 117 runs at an average of 117 and a strike rate of 201.72 in six innings.


Pandya’s Peak Performance and Milestone Innings in T20Is

Pandya delivered his best year with the bat in 2022. He aggregated 607 runs across 25 innings, the fourth-most by an Indian batter in T20Is in 2022.
