The left-hander is one of the 10 Indian spinners to take two or more five-wicket hauls against the West Indies in Tests.

Kuldeep is among a select group of six Indian left-arm spinners to take a five-wicket haul against Australia in Tests. 

And he is also one of the two Indian left-arm tweakers, along with Bishan Singh Bedi, to bag a Test five-for in Australia. He returned 5 for 99 runs in the second innings of the 2019 Sydney Test.


Kuldeep’s Record-Breaking Test Performances in the Subcontinent

The southpaw’s 5 for 40 against Bangladesh in 2022 are the second-best bowling figures by an Indian spinner against Bangladesh in Tests. This is also the best bowling figures by an Indian spinner in Bangladesh.

Kuldeep’s 5 for 72 against England in 2024 came at an economy rate of 4.8. This is the worst economy rate by an Indian left-arm spinner while taking a five-for against England.

Kuldeep became the first Indian spinner to take a five-wicket haul at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.
