Punjab Kings hold the record for smashing the most sixes in an IPL match. PBKS batters smashed 24 maximums against the Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2024 season.
RCB smashed 21 sixes against Pune Warriors in the IPL 2013 season. Chris Gayle registered the highest-ever individual score by a batsman in the history of IPL in that match. RCB scored 263 runs in 20 overs with the help of an unbeaten 175-run knock by Chris Gayle.
