Brendon McCullum was the first New Zealand batter to score a T20I century. He smashed an unbeaten 116 from 56 balls in the 2010 Christchurch T20I.

Allen has also brought up the fastest T20I century for New Zealand, off 33 balls, while scoring an unbeaten 100 against South Africa in Kolkata in the 2026 T20 World Cup semi-final.

McCullum, meanwhile, has smashed the highest individual score among all batters in the T20 World Cup. He struck 123 off 58 balls against Bangladesh in Pallekele in the 2012 T20 World Cup.

McCullum’s 123-run knock is the second-highest by a wicketkeeper-batter in T20Is.

Munro is the only New Zealand batter to score two centuries in a calendar year in T20Is, achieving the feat in 2017 while scoring 101 against Bangladesh and an unbeaten 109 against India.

Notably, Munro scored both his home centuries at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui, the most by a New Zealand batter at a single venue in T20Is.
