Bangladesh won their first-ever Test match on Australian soil in August 2026. They beat the hosts by nine wickets in the Darwin Test.
While Bangladesh failed to win the two-match series, they were able to draw their second consecutive Test series against Australia since 2017.
Bangladesh clean-swept Pakistan in the two-match series at home in May 2026. This was their second consecutive Test series victory against Pakistan.

The Asian side also recorded their second consecutive Test series victory against Ireland. They beat the Irish side 2-0 in November 2025.

Bangladesh recorded their joint second-largest Test win by an innings in April 2025. They defeated Zimbabwe by an innings and 106 runs in the Chattogram Test to draw the two-match series 1-1.
