Test Bilateral Performance Records Against Bangladesh
Australia lost their first-ever Test against Bangladesh at home in mid-August 2026. The Asian side beat the hosts convincingly in the Darwin Test.
Later, Australia settled for a 1-1 draw. This is their second drawn Test series in a row against Bangladesh since 2017.
Australia’s effort to draw the Mackay Test turned out to be the fourth-shortest completed men’s Test by balls. Australia and Bangladesh played 750 balls combined. This is the second-shortest test since 2020.
Historical Ashes Dominance and Rivalries
In early 2026, the Aussies retained the Ashes for the fifth consecutive time. They handed a 4-1 defeat to England in the 2025/26 home Ashes.
The last time Australia lost an Ashes series was back in 2015 by 2-3, when they toured England.
Subcontinent and Caribbean Sweep Milestones
Australia whitewashed the West Indies by 3-0 in July 2025. This was their 10th series victory against the West Indies since 2000.
